@PeterAttiaMD’s grip strength test has been updated.
Initially, it was suggested on the @HubermanLab Podcast that men should be able to Farmer’s Carry their body weight for 2 minutes.
I gave it a try and managed only 70 seconds—definitely tough to achieve.
Now, Attia has revised the test, suggesting a 1-minute carry as the target for men. While still challenging, it’s important to remember that correlation doesn’t equal causation. Grip strength is linked to mortality, but like any test, practice can improve performance.
