I look at 3 things when choosing an exercise:
1️⃣ Stability
2️⃣ Alignment
3️⃣ Strength Curve
Today, I’m discussing alignment as it pertains to the body. Some movements might feel better than others due to how your body is aligned.
As an example: a bilateral lat pulldown versus a unilateral lat pulldown. With a unilateral lat pulldown, each shoulder has its appropriate range of motion and mobility and isn’t forcing the other shoulder to compensate or overwork.
When choosing exercises, focus on movements that feel comfortable and are a better option for how you and your body move.
