Protein cinnamon french toast sticks… sound way too good to be true. That’s because it is. Calling these ‘protein’ french toast sticks is wildly generous considering they are 330 calories and only 12 grams of protein.

Remember the test. We want to see items being touted as protein-rich to have AT LEAST 10g of protein for every 100 calories.

Considering this, these are actually a high fat item.
Think about how much time, energy, and money goes toward marketing an item. The front of this box doesn’t mean s#!t once you read the nutrition label and get the full story.

This fajita chicken kit from @costco is ready in 10 minutes. It’s been a long day, and between the people you love and work you are just f***ing done with it. This has 200 calories, 26g of protein (it passes the test), and it also has 4g of fiber. Don’t come at me about the f***ing sodium, it’s only 500mg for basically an entire meal. Even if you’re my size you would only need to eat 1.5x a serving.

It’s protein, vegetables, easy to prep, and a meal you can feel proud to have cooked for your family.

It’s hard to go wrong with seafood when you’re on a diet. Let’s face it, it’s summertime, you’re probably drinking more than you should and BBQ hopping nonstop. So let’s put a healthy spin on your traditional saturated fat meat fest. I love salmon, but nobody knows how to grill it right. It gets stuck to the grill and you end up f***ing it up. With a cedar plank, even I can get it right.

I love salmon because it’s full of healthy fats and chock full of omega 3s. Atlantic caught or sockeye, you’re not going to have to worry about the mercury, and you instantly have a healthier alternative to your traditional on-the-grill options.
