It’s not “personal training” because I’m not your f***ing friend

It’s not “personal training” because I’m not your f***ing friend ❌

I have trained people for years and many of them I could not tell you their kids’ names. It’s not because I don’t care about them, it’s because when we’re in the gym it’s business. The way I show people I care is to get them the results they’ve always wanted.

Working out with the intention of changing your body requires a certain level of intensity, and it’s the kind of intensity that you can’t talk while performing a set. If you came up to one of my clients mid-way through a set, they wouldn’t be able to tell you their middle name. They’d have to look at you and say, “One second.” That’s what’s required to change your life.

Link in bio if you want to learn how to actually train.

Statistically, Americans gain weight in December

Americans traditionally gain weight during the holiday season. December is a particularly brutal month with the holidays and all the celebrating going on.

Peter lost 30lbs while working with me, even in the midst of one of the most joyous times of the year. Peter is both a client on @getverb as well as an in-person coaching client. I see multiple people come up to him and say “Geez, dude, you look so good,” and that’s gotta feel great when most of us are doing our best to survive until January.

If you’re ready to make a change in your life go to the link in bio.

Processed Food: any food that has undergone changes to its natural state

Processed food is technically defined as any food that has undergone changes to its natural state. That is any raw agricultural commodity subject to washing, cleaning, cutting, chopping, feeding, pasteurizing, heating, etc. Oftentimes processed food involves salt, sugar, or oil, in order to increase the longevity and package it.

But there are levels to this sh*t. Buying a vegetable medley that’s been chopped and seasoned for you would technically mean it’s “processed.” Doritos are also processed. That’s where common sense comes into play.

80% of your food should be coming from single-ingredient foods, and there’s room for some of your food to be coming from processed sources. Even foods like Oreos.

Can cheese be low calorie, high protein?

Can cheese have low calories and high protein ❓
Yes, in the year 2022 it can 🧀

Look for low fat or skim milk cheese products. I’ve seen it in cheddar, parmesan, mozzarella, and I think the offerings are going to continue to expand as America is becoming increasingly more health-conscious.

I have noticed some of these low fat cheeses taste a little plastic or fake. I happen to really enjoy this Kraft mozzarella in a quesadilla with a @missionfoodsus carb wrap, I like to mix it in an omelet as well.
